It will be interesting to see if history correctly describes the blatant treason of democrats during the Iraq war. Even during the Korean war, this behavior probably would have resulted in trials and imprisonment. No way can I imagine Harry Truman putting up with this crap.

Correct...It can’t be called anything else but treason, IMO.

“It will be interesting to see if history correctly describes the

Not much of a chance, given the “diversity” in the History departments
of most universities (see link below).

Yeah, the historians are happy to talk about how Wendell Wilkie
did yeoman’s work assisting FDR (and the nation) after losing to
FDR.
That story gets plenty of mention because (for the Democrats/liberals),
it’s a great story about a conservative “bending the knee” to their
morally-superior leader FDR (and I ain’t slamming FDR, just these
FDR groupies in the history departments).

But stories of Democrats subverting a war effort and hoping for
the defeat of US military forces: the historians will spin that as
a tail of a beseiged “the few and the proud” Democrats that saved
the USA from a power-mad fundamentalist Christian that stole two
Presidential elections.
Those “histories” will conveniently fail to mention that “the few
and the proud” were in control of BOTH houses of the legislative
branch, controlled the purse-strings of the treasury and could force
the end of the fighting by simply refusing to appropriate money to
continue the struggle.
If the history textbooks tell an honest story about the current
PERIDIOUS Democrats in thirty years...I’ll be shocked (and pleased).

For now, I just thank G-d for The Internet, FR, Jim Robinson and
Thomas Sowell.

Sowell’s column is the only analysis I’ve heard/read that makes sense
of what the Democrats are trying to do with this resolution:
Trying to LOSE the war without having their fingerprints on the actual
articles of surrender.
