It is hard to avoid the conclusion that this resolution is just the latest in a series of Congressional efforts to sabotage the conduct of that war.

Dr. Sowell is again absolutely correct.

I agree with this 100% and pray everyday that God will give President Bush victory in this war in "the presense of his enemies"!

That includes these wicked two-faced Dems who demanded the chance to vote and support Bush before the war started and now are stabbing him in the back when they think they can make political points with it.

I believe good will prevail in the end. I just hope we see it in this war.

It will be interesting to see if history correctly describes the blatant treason of democrats during the Iraq war. Even during the Korean war, this behavior probably would have resulted in trials and imprisonment. No way can I imagine Harry Truman putting up with this crap.

What a treasure Mr. Sowell is. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything written by him that I disagreed with. He’s brilliant.

I have been unable to follow current events for a few days so can someone please help me out. Has this resolution by the party with the yellow streak down its back yet continues to try to convince us that it is caused by a liver disorder actually voted on this piece of political crap yet? If so I hope that once again my senator, the cowardly Sister Mary Landrieu, voted in favor of it. She continues to shoot herself in the mouth so often that she no longer has any brains. We can use to defeat her in 2008. She apparently thinks that we can't remember anything that long.

I’m not absolutely sure but I believe it’s out of committee and will be voted on by the full House on Thursday.

Anybody else know for sure?

Democrat and leftist journalist’s treason during the Vietnam War is still being hid from the American people, so don’t expect their treasonous conduct during this war to be remembered. But at least some of you are beginning to understand how we Vietnam Veterans felt during the years 1968 through 1975.

The Democratic House found themselves helpless in stopping the war, now they resort to sabotage. Should the Turks decide to deny use of their facilities to the USA to resupply our troops we will find ourselves in a difficult situation. For whatever bad happens the media will fault George Bush.

Why has this not been all over the news? This action has the potential to get our wariors killed due to lack of logistics during a war. Where is the MSMedia?

We have to keep talking about this until the media is forced to cover the story.

Very well put ...

Now is the time for action... Write, Call, Email, FAX, your congressmen... everyone must get this word out..

If one American Soldier in Iraq dies because of Turkish incursion into Kurdish territories of the north then those that said AYE to this resolution are guilty of that soldiers MURDER.

American Soldiers lives are in the balance everyday and the Democrats play political games to risk this countries treasure for what? Why Now? Is good news from Iraq worth treason?
