I didn’t know Colmes was still on the radio. In Orlando he was replaced with Rusty Humphries; no doubt Rusty gets better ratings, since he’s both conservative and funny.
As for what Imus said, if I was a basketball player and somebody said I had a head like Napoleon, I’d probably be offended, too.
I think it was that funny hat he wore.

As to Imus, the answer is simple: ban censorship. Kidding aside, he should work on becoming an equal-opportunity antagonist.

McCarthyism is ok when the Right gets shut down. On campuses they call it hate speech. They are aiming here for the European model where it is a crime. Even the ACLU who used to champion free speech wants hate speech laws. I guess they think civil liberties should only go to those whose speech they like.
