“Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, the original, not the crap that followed it.
“Star Trek: The Motion Picture” and “the Voyage Home”
“Close Encounters of the Third Kind”
“ET” - lovely movie for kids
“Star Wars”, the first three
“Serenity” - will blow you away. Action all the time.
“Five Million Years to Earth” - British, but great
“Lifeforce” - scary, with one wild woman in it
“Silent Running” - greatly underappreciated
“Alien” and “Aliens”, two of the scariest movies ever made about alien life in space. Signorney Weaver rocks!
“Spaced Invaders” - pure fun and wacky
and the worst ever made “Plan 9 From Outer Space” with my friend Conrad Brooks, third cop from the left.
