[Tanslation ScaniaBoy] A hacker war between Turkey and Sweden has erupted. Last week Turkish hackers attacked thousands of Swedish sites on the Internet, and this weekend Swedish hackers revenged by publishing pornographic pictures of the prophet Muhammed.
The Turkish attacks started several weeks ago. Swedish Web-hotels were attacked and thousands of home-pages were erased, and sometimes the attackers left political messages.
On Saturday the Swedish hackers hit back.
They had localised a Turkish discussion forum where some of the hackers were registred. The database with names and passwords for all the members to the site was stolen, Per Hellqvist, head of security at the IT-company Symantec, explains.
According to Mr Hellqvist, the Swedish hackers entered homepages, hotmail accounts and even msn:s. On the homepages they posted pornographic pictures of Muhammed and Atatürk.
The Swedish hackers also destroyed and sent mail. They also used msn to send messages to the friends of the people they attacked on the discussion board.
per hellqvist says that this was a much more serious attack than just gaining access to a homepage and destroy it. He says many innocent people were affected.
The Turkish attackers were not so sophisticated. They entered homepages with poor security. The Swedish attack was much more advanced.
Per Hellqvist does not want to speculate how this wil develope. He says that the Swedish attacks may feed the flames of the conflict that started after Lars Vilks moodog drawings were published.
You shouldn’t condone it? Au contraire, my friend. Not one person got their head chopped off, The Prophet Mo was mocked. They fought back and beat them at their own game. It’s kind of like Rush responding in kind. And better.
Go Vikings.
The bastards are not satisfied to invade a country, rape the women, assault innocent people and destroy a civilization. They resort to electronic piracy too.
Hehehe :-)
ping
Sweden: I vill haaaack you now...
Turkey:ALALALALALALALALAL!!!
I shouldn't condone it either.
Now that the disclaimers are out of the way...
When will thay take down that Web Plague Spot .CN?
I mean Down. As in melted fiber.
So the Swedes should have simply posted thank you messages to the Turkish hackers?
There’s an old saying. “If you don’t start nothing, there won’t be nothing.”
It’s a wise rule to live by. However when you choose to bust into someone else's party and throw a turd in the punch bowl you should expect to get beat down.
Just saying...
He, he, he....
Good one!
:-)
I’m with you 100%....
I just searched this in Google news and nothing else is being reported. I guess the turkish hackers were put in their place for the time being.....
hehehehehe...
