Many of us here were astonished at Turkey's decision not to let us enter through their area when the war began. It cost us a lot of time and lives. Of Iraqis as well as our own personnel. Plus slowed down the process immensely.I washed my hands of them when they did that and I haven't looked back since. From that moment on I knew where Turkey's loyalties belonged and it wasn't with us.
They would love to invade Northern Iraq and take over the Oil deposits there.
Kirkuk and Mosul. They want them desperately.

If the PKK wanted to do something positive, they could invade the Kurdish area of Iran and claim it for/as Kurdistan and do everyone a favor.
They might run into trouble though...
