i’m aware of all that. frankly since there are Republicans who have signed on to this as well over the years (Dennis Hastert tried to bring it to the floor as well), i think it is more and issue of coming through for the Armenians. it has been tried and tried and tried - and never passed. no guarantee it will be this time. as much as i detest the Dems and their war against this war, i don’t this this is calculated as part of it. by the way, i have a cousin at Centcom and one in Kuwait, both in the Air Force and working hard to win this war.
No one, other than Turkey is saying it is the wrong thing to do, it's just the wrong time to do it. How about we condemn England for Imperialism while were at it? It serves no good right now and only hurts us. It's not like turkey is going anywhere, we can pass meaningless resolutions about something that happened 100 years ago later. Are we trying to get someone told before they die or something?

It is part of the Left's plan, why else do it, the Left has never had any respect for History, they go to great lengths to re-write history every chance they get. The Left is completely committed to our defeat in Iraq and this is a golden opportunity for them, they can do something Al Qaeda and the rest of the Islamic Jehadist cant, cut off our supply lines.
The only way the Left can get elected is to discredit the Right, they have to make conservatives look incompetent in order to run against us. They have no other choice because they know they can't actually run on their agenda, if they ever told the American People what it is they plan to do if they get in power (kill babies, promote homo-sexuality, raise taxes, outlaw Christianity, remove the 2nd Amendment, turn our country over to Socialism, etc.) the American People wouldn't elect them to take out the trash let alone hold public office.
