Dubai Al-Sharqiyah Television in Arabic -- Independent, private news and entertainment channel focusing on Iraq, run by Sa'd al-Bazzaz, publisher of the Arabic-language daily Al-Zaman)

Have you heard anything about this or are you familiar with the source? If true this is another bit of evidence, which is starting to accumulate, that we may actually look back a year from now and realize that we've basically won this thing in Iraq.

Al-Sharq is a large Arab holding company with their fingers in many enterprises. I have no knowledge in regards to their reliability as a media source. However, there has been a strong response in the Arab world against any partition. A weak, federal Iraq leaves the door open for Iranian influence. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States are petrified of that event. The sane Arab states are moving very close to USA for protection now.
