We dont appease the Saudis, we buy oil from them. The Leadership there wants terrorism less than we do, bad for business. What's more is that al Qaeda hates the Saudi royal family as much as they hate us, and therefore, we have a common enemy.

Are you suggesting we support Saudi Arabia with our blood and treasure? If the term Islamic fascist is accurate, Saudi Arabia is probably the leading example in the world today. In no other country, except perhaps Karzai’s Afghanistan are the rights of Christians more limited.

I have a Saudi Friend who is a distant cousin to the Royals. He says the royals hate all those groups, but since the bulk of the population is susceptible to the philosophies of the radicals they have to turn a public blind eye or fear strikes and uprisings. Behind the scenes the Saudis feed us as much info as they can. Enemy of my Enemy is my friend even if it is under the cover of darkness.
