Just out of curiosity, where do most people get information about candidates?
I’ve always wondered why all applicants for government jobs have to fill out one form of application or another, depending on the job, yet candidates for high offices get by with their own version of what the public should know about them. It seems to me that candidates should have to fill out the same application as those who want/get top clearances. I’d like to have candidates for top federal offices fill out those applications and the information be available to the public. Fat chance of that ever happening though.
I was required to have a security clearance when I enlisted in the Air Force. I wonder how many of Slick Willy’s bunch couldn’t get one.
