Al's a fruitcake; he didn't invent the internet; and even though global warming may have been a fact in the late 90's, it should not be a surprising condition given that the sun is putting out additional BTUs--when the average guy hears that the icecaps on Mars are also melting and then he hears Al say it is because of Co2 emissions from internal combustion engines, he tends to think Al does not have a full deck.

When he hears about all these tax and spend programs, he thinks this is just another device by which the political establishment wrings money out of us and gives it to their political allies.

Al's simply a bad guy--if you elect him dog catcher, he will find a way to transfer tax funds to his supporters in connection with catching dogs.

Al’s a fruitcake alright. Do you remember what his last big crusade was before he decided the internal combusion engine would be a better ticket to promote himself? In the 80’s he and Tipper were in charge of getting warning labels on CD’s for their dirty lyrics. He’s really covered the gambit. Wonder what his next gig will be now that global warming is turning into the next ice age?
