True, and we don't really die either. Just our flesh.

God did not sacrifice his only begotten son because his son was really a god too.

You are assuming that human beings cease to exist upon death, but I'm sure you know that Christians do not believe that. Therefore, your statement doesn't really work in this context.

Jesus sacrifice was the shedding of His blood for us and in taking on our sins while He was on the cross. (The physical pain was bad enough. I can't imagine the spiritual pain that a sinless being would experience when taking on the weight of all those sins committed by others.)

I’m assuming nothing, I’m pointing out the flaw of the tenant. Re-read what I wrote.

And my point is, IF he is a god or God, there was no sacrifice and there was no pain. You can’t have it both ways.
