Seems that most here are campaigning for her, several today have bragged that they want to lose to her, and I have seen many, many here countenancing destruction of the GOP for a 3rd party, for the last year.
So obviously, martyrdom is the new kewl for Conservative voters.
Hide your cash, Hillary and Bill for the next 2 terms.
Hey, atleast the group was out their with actual ideas and plans on how to keep our economy moving forward. The dems debate is all about their hatred for Bush, ways to say tax increases without really saying “tax increases except for the rich”, and more ways to hate Bush...I would vote for any of the Republican candidates yes, even McCain) over a single loser democrat, especially in the serious times that we are living. Anything less is to open up our country to attacks worse than 9/11 and complete undermining of basic things like the internet (see Hillary’s latest speech) or socialized healthcare!~
Thank you for the correction, I feel better now.
The Party knows all.
The Party is my friend.
Principles are the enemy of the Party.
Understood.
It is only because of that "nonstop pathetic whining" from conservatives that we have Alito instead of Miers.
Article I, Section 8, I would imagine.
I spend 100 percent of my time shooting at the GOP? Proof please. Some citations? What is your problem? Why attack people because you disagree with their views on government spending? Do you know what “civil” means? Do you understand what a gratuitous insult is? Or are you just one of those little weasely guys who can’t stand for women to disagree with him for, uh, “personal” reasons?
Agree with you on the deficit. Agree that Bush took a principled position on SCHIP, thank heavens. But...please review the sub committee votes, so far, on the markups of this year’s 12 appropriations bills. And the authorization bill votes will make your eyes bug out. The only one hard to argue with is Defense Authorization. The rest of the discretionary spending looks like it was designed by Lyndon Johnson. Some of the Republicans have gotten the message, some haven’t. So far, those who have not gotten the message are allowing the Dems to run rough shod. Agree with you that Democrats are worse. Look at what Rangel is trying to do with taxes. But let’s discuss this when they finally finish the 08 appropriations bills, that is, when they come out of final conference and are sent to Bush. I predict we will all be weeping.
