The Nobel Peace Prize has become a virtual joke...previous winners have included Rigoberta Menchu (1992) a supposed leader of oppressed indigenous people...latter shown to be a fraud, Terrorist, Yasser Arafat(1994), Kofi Annan ...who lined his pockets and those of his cronies as UN head (2001), Jimmy Carter (2002)... friend to dictators worldwide and now St. Algore, creator of the most perfect dogma in the church of global warming.

Was Robert Mugabee nominated at one point? I thought he was back when he first came to power to revolutionize the balance of power in Zimbabwe. Back then, Zimbabwe was the oppressive breadbasket of the African continent. The rich white farmers were keeping the poor tribal inhabitants down.
Somebody help here. My memory is fuzzy.
