We must be on the same wavelength, jaycee! It's not chilly here, but I've been ready for a big pot of homemade soup for over a week. Finally, last Wednesday I called some friends and invited them for dinner on Sunday night - for homemade soup! It's been 'smelling' up the kitchen for a couple of hours - now I need to go make a chocolate cake.

My soup was delicious. Ate it twice yesterday so I skipped today. I ordered a small pizza today. Last night I had a small slice of apple pie with ice cream and I was concerned about my sugar so I waited until today to check it and it was down to 80. That is low! So I had the pizza. Your chocolate cake sounds good to me!

I didn’t invite company as I had been to the Red Hat Picnic on Friday. I thought if my kids happened by, I would offer them some, but they didn’t show up over the weekend! BRATS! ~~LOL~~
