HAHAHAHAHA! They had a chance to bring about a world caliphate? HAHAHAHAHA! not a chance. And don't kid yourself, they did and do stand up with AQ. There are many ways to contribute to jihad besides all out bloodshed. Someone has to do the organizing, the fundraising, the logistics etc. etc., and they do it while talking to you over the fence telling you what good peaceful muslims they are, lying right to your face.
