It’s a farce Rudy Giuliani who, like President Bush, supports amnesty for illegal immigrants is perceived as one of the leading GOP candidates while Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter are not. It’s amazing anybody could actually consider voting under any circumstance for Giuliani giving his support of amnesty.

I agree. Tancredo and Hunter are being ignored by the MSM because they tell the truth about all the special interest lobbies that are promoting the illegal invasion: The business groups (U.S.Chamber of Commerce, et al.) that love the cheap labor with no basic benefits; the ethnocentric lobby groups; the politicians pandering for their votes. On the other hand, Tancredo and Hunter are telling us about the cultural and economic ruin this has wrought: increasing taxes for prison incarceration, bankrupt school districts, the enormous human and economic costs of the drug cartel, insolvent hospitals, ever-rising social welfare costs. Of course, when confronted with facts the pro-illegals can only reply by name-calling: they play the race card and call those who want secure national borders xenophobes, nativists, and worse. The pro-illegal special interest groups really don’t give a damn about the welfare of the American worker or the middle class - or for that matter, the welfare of the nation. Tancredo and Hunter have the courage and fortitude to buck this huge coalition.

Further proof that that Republicans and the American people as a whole are not as anti-amnesty as some here think.
