I was responding to this statement: "Perhaps it is the history of forced conversions and mass murder which is the threatening undertone to the sentiment.".

All of my comments are quite relevant to that point ~ particularly since Ann Coulter was never, to anyone's knowledge, involved in forced conversions or mass murder, nor has the United States been involved in such things (referring to mass murder of Jews, or forced conversions of Jews).

So, what did you mean when you took this thread out of the Coulter discussion and dragged it into the arms of Spain?

Are you drunk? I didn’t. YOU did. I was defending Coulter in that I don’t find her comments alarming or cause for concern. Seems like you jumped to a whole bunch of wrong conclusions because you didn’t understand what I wrote. Or else you are confusing me with someone else.
