I don’t believe that FLIRTING with another woman, requires a penis sliced off and shot with a gun. Who knows if he even knew if she was married - it’s irrelevent. TALK to the guy and let him know what COULD happen - that is a more civilized approach but hey, Islam is NOT rational.
