It started over the weekend, when a blogger calling himself Icwhatudo put up a post on the conservative website Freerepublic.com noting what he had found by scavenging around the internet: that Graeme attends a private school, lives in a remodeled house near one that had sold for $485,000 in March and is the child of parents whose wedding was announced in the New York Times. The post also noted that his father purchased a $160,000 commercial space in 1999.

And while they are still uninsured, they claim it is most certainly not by choice. Bonnie Frost says the last time she priced health coverage, she learned it would cost them $1,200 a month.
In short, just as the radio spot claimed, the Frosts are precisely the kind of people that the SCHIP program was intended to help.

While the family continues to support the vetoed bill that would expand the program to 4 million more children, they are hoping to remove themselves from the middle of the storm. After giving a few interviews, Halsey and Bonnie Frost now say they don't want to say anything more, though network camera crews have planted themselves in front of their house.

The MSM is not the only institution capable of digging up and publicizing information, as it discovered to its shock and dismay during Memogate. There will be plenty of Park School parents willing to chatter about this, and some who will manage to extract oral statements from the school officials re the Frost family’s financial assistance arrangement, and some who are board members who can get access to documents and leak them — lots of pissed off parents will be digging for info on why they’re paying so much while the Frosts were paying so little pre-accident.
Not worth the risk to the Dems to make specific claims about the Frosts’ financial arrangements with the school without some fairly solid evidence. Easier/safer for them just to point out that most children from families with the Frosts’ stated income who are attending private schools are receiving substantial financial aid.
I don’t mean fighting CHIP is a loosing battle, only going after the family.

We’ll see the Frost’s tax returns and actual documentation on who pays their children's schools about the same time the MSM publishes the college grades of a democrat presidential candidate. Amazing how only Pub candidates get their grades published. Think rats have never had their grades leaked? The difference is that Democrat presidential grade reports are not newsworthy, Republican grades reports are.
Same principle applies to Reid in this situation. His lies are unnewsworthy. Thus it does not matter.

The other network news agencies called out one of their competitors, namely CBS. This was after being exposed here at FR and at LGF. They would not have even bothered to challenge Rahter’s claims had it not been for the internet. Furthermore, initial reporting of the story by the MSM sourced CBS and assumed everything was accurate. No fact checking was done, Rather said it, it must therefore be true.
But the network news agencies as a whole does not typically call out an ally, unless they have no choice, or they see big $ signs ahead. Covering for rat politicians is job number one to them. Exhibit A, Hillary Clinton. Exhibit B, Harry Reid.

Probably a "STOP" order having to do with the construction. His permits state that he will not make any structural changes, impossible if you are going to widen the doorways for wheel chair access. That site also shows a $285.20 judgment against Bonnie for what I assume are medical bills since the plaintiff is a doctor. Guess the SCHIP isn't so great after all.

I agree they aren’t likely to speak for the record, especially given what the Frost kids have been through with their injuries. However, most of them are well-educated and well-connected and can figure out how to leak info that they want leaked. And most people who are paying full freight for their kids at a $20,000 a year school (75% of the student body in this particular school) aren’t left-wingers, and are well aware that they are already paying more than their fair share of other people’s medical expenses — i.e. most would not be big fans of expanding this program that is obviously already covering people who really could cover themselves.
Under NO circumstances should you allow them to discover your real identity, ic. You live in the land of Linda Tripp (AFAIK). The Clintons were tickled pink to discover that Tripp lived in the corrupt Democrat fiefdom of Maryland during the impeachment wars. I have no doubt that Linda's torture by the Maryland "authorities" was personally directed by the Clinton White House.
