There is no doubt at all that the Clinttons are a criminal organization. But, since they are Dummie politicians, they are immune from legal action against them. They get better protections than do foreign diplomats — there is nothing that they could ever do that would be used against them in a court of law. They have pre-offense pardons.

You're over-thinking this thing. Besides, we already know the character of Queen Hillary & what kind of underhanded tricks she is capable of. Do you think a lightweight like Sandy Berger would have the cajones to blackmail a streetfighter like Hillary?

I must confess that I have never understood this part of the scandal. The National Archives would be one place I would expect people in charge to be fastidious about guarding and filing and keeping backup copies if the originals are to be accessible to people.

The originals were not accessible to anybody without extremely high security clearance. Increasing the number of copies of something in existence tends to increase the likelihood that one of them will leak. Of course, if one lets Sandy Burglar have unfettered access to the documents all bets are off.

let me be more direct, then.....name a US Atty that was fired who was involved in the Berger get outta jail free/misdemeanor/plea deal/alleged prosecution.

but he was “prosecuted”.....just given a pass by DOJ.....so your statement is in error or needs some explaining.

No I’m not. You stated it clearly, but now you have changed it.
Fact is, Berger was “prosecuted” (albeit given a pass). No US Atty was fired for refusing to prosecute him.
I think where you and I differ here is that while klintons butt got covered for some serious national security damage, I am quite willing to at least consider that it all might well go back as far as the april glaspie matter......and that if so, one bush admin might be complicit in letting berger slide to prevent whatever a real and total investigation and trial might have shaken out........in fact, I am quite suspicious that this is part of the reason that the current Bush’s DOJ allowed the slap-on-the-wrist.
Nonetheless, no clintonoid/dem was a bit unhappy with the way it shook out re berger, and if a US Atty was fired for declining to “prosecute” berger and others wound up changing that decision, this is the first I’ve heard of it or even seen it floated. To say that a US Atty was fired because berger wasn’t prosecuted is just plain incorrect, because he WAS “prosecuted”.

Yes, but I emphasised DESTROYED because the news reports always say “STOLE or REMOVED” meaning the Archives got them back....Burglar DESTROYED ORIGINAL CLASSIFED DOCS which we will NEVER know what they contained and he got NO PUNISHMENT!!!! I DETEST the BUSH JUSTICE DEPT!! OXYMORON.
