Byron York thought Thompson did a good job.

I did too.
Fred didn’t stumble. He didn’t even parse very much. The statement, “....I don’t buy the concept that any reduction in taxes is lost revenue to the government. The taxpayers haven’t lost it, it’s in their pocket”, is a simple explanation of fact, and one that the MSM has not yet gotten their heads around.
To them, this is a paradox. How can lower tax rates translate into MORE revenue? Had they never heard of the old fable about “killing the goose that lays the golden eggs”? Did EVERYTHING go over their heads?
People work for rewards. Let them keep their rewards, and they will continue to work harder and harder, as a conditioned reflex, until they work themselves to death.
This has been tested out on laboratory rats again and again, and is part of the reason some people keep on returning to a casino and playing the slot machines again and again, because occasionally, there is a reward. When the reward is much more frequent, they become even more relentless in the pursuit.
Yes he did just fine. Funny how none of the other candidates are expected to be the entertainment for the masses. That is not why we need Fred elected. The roots of his comment regarding the fallacy of the statement on "lost revenue" and his answer that it is not lost, it is where it needs to be, in the pockets of the citizens is exactly what Fred is about and why he needs to be elected.
It does not have a damn thing to do with showmanship. It has everything to do with keeping this nation from falling into the grip of communism.
So your choices then are Guiliani or Romney.
Dude, are you so off the grid, impressive...
Those that back either of these liberals will bear the guilt of PRESIDENT HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON and the end of America. Backing rootie or mitt is like betting 10 Grand on the New Orleans Saints.

Fred was very tall in that debate.
The left obviously sees Fred as the biggest threat running.
That’s why they’re concentrating their guns on him, like “Christopher” and his Canadian PM gotcha question.
Fred did well!
I found myself gravitating toward Tancredo on many issues. Ahh well, there's still a ways to go, plenty of time for opinions to change and change again.
Not yet, but I'm working on it.
When he could get his words out without stuttering, he was ok. Time to pack it in though... He's gained zero traction since joining the race. Brownback and Hunter too... Time to quit the race.
Traction is relative. If Fred has zero traction then Mitt must have negative traction since Fred bests Mitt in nearly every poll. Yet you don't call for Mitt to withdraw. Why is that I wonder?
He is on record as saying he believes it would be wrong to absolutely rule out a gas tax increase as part of any major energy package, or a tax increase of some sort as part of major reforms designed to shore up Social Security.... but Thompson rivals suggest they show a candidate open to raising taxes.

Mitt Romney is polling as a front-runner, and is ahead in some state polls. I am also not calling for Mike Huckabee to exit the race, since he has gone from 1% to 8% in some polls. He has a chance of winning, and Mitt Romney has a much bigger chance of winning. Tom Tancredo, as well as Duncan Hunter and Sam Brownback, are stuck at 1%. No movement whatsoever.
Except Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, Michigan.....
Fred is leading in the national polls, but that gap is closing.
