Don't be fooled by the slant of FR, which hates Rudy. Out in the "real world" of Republicans who walk precincts and pass out literature, Rudy is quite popular. From even the most conservative people, I get a reluctant, "He's not my first choice, but he'd fight Hillary and he'll fight the WoT."

People want someone who CAN and WILL take on Hillary, and for whatever reason, the other guys just seem to drift along. Rudy's anti-Moveon ad was brilliant. His only slip in the last two weeks was not coming out big to support Rush (Fred did). But the NY Times anti-Moveon ad was a brilliant stroke.
