I’m trying to understand how Giuliani can be at 27% when we hear so little from him.

I don’t believe this at all.

My estimate is that around 25-30% of all actual voters haven't a single clue about any issues, but vote on name recognition, appearances, etc.

Another big chuck are superficially aware of an issue or two, and believe what they're told about that issue on the news. Those votes are controlled by the MSM.

Finally, there is the remaining group of voters who are involved, aware and vote based on their best understanding of which candidate best matches--more or less--their own beliefs.

Name recognition. It's early yet - few people are paying attention yet.

Since RG is banned on FR any articles have to be found elsewhere, and with him and all the candidates, you can go to C-span or uTube to get videos of their speeches and townhall meetings.

I have watched each one of them in townhall meeting settings, taking questions from citizens, those are the most interesting I think.

Anyway, you have to google and search for info on all the candidates.

Guess you missed that anti-Moveon ad. That did as much to boost Rudy as the guy to beat as anything. Fred was the ONLY other one who came out big-time, publicly, against that ad.

Look, it's real easy to "get" Rudy's appeal: in EVERY SPEECH, ALL THE TIME, he hits Hillary, not other Republicans.

Every candidate should do that. If they have a speech or an answer to a question without Hillary in it, it's a waste of time.

I'm trying to understand how Giuliani can ONLY be at 27% with all the free shilling he gets from the likes of Sean Hannity, Dennis Miller, Phil Hendrie, et al., and..oh... did I forget to mention pretty much the entire MSM.
