Dita, I read this poem recently and cried. Now, I’ve seen it with pictures and music and I cried worse. It really gets me emotional alhough I see the happiness in it. Thank you for this version and Good Morning! (My power has been out and I have blankin’, blinkin’ clocks~~LOL~~)

Notice my post where I sent it to you (which I meant to) and then started my note with “Dita”. Don’t know....I tried to stop it from posting but wasn’t fast enough. Think it was because the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ was to Dita and ITS TOO EARLY FOR ME TO THINK~~lol~~~

Dear Dita,

I am SO VERY SORRY to hear of the loss of your beloved Brigid! Oh how I KNOW you miss her. You have shared a wonderful tribute to her here with us & I know it is painful to even look at the pix.

My Cali (19 years old) died this summer & I still have a BIG lump in my throat & suspect I will til I die. She was my feline bud & they touch your soul unlike any human can(sad to say)

I will be leaving in a little while but I figured out what happened to my brain this morning. When the power came back on, that bulb in my head didn't cut on~~LOL~~ The power has been out again and I have to set the blinking clocks again. Will see everyone in the late evening perhaps! Thank you so much, ((((DollyCali)))).... I appreciate your heartfelt sympathy and send you BIG HUGS back, for your dear beautiful Cali too... I know you were SO close and the bond is indescribable.

I feel too I will never get over this. What a huge empty space is in my life since my golden Bridgie is gone. Now I know how much her warmth and love filled the room and reached into my heart. She was sugar and spice...!! She lived with zest, joy and so much love. Smart as all heck, too. Sometimes she would "speak" to me as thoughts in my mind.

Even as her life was ebbing within her, she tried to re-live some kitten antics. She found every which way to take up as much space in my heart as possible....:)

I opened a book to read this morning, and there was a cat hair of Bridgie inside.. made me smile, as her way of saying "Hello, I miss you too."

I have seen female cats bossing big male cats around!!
I had a kitty once...Simone...who did that....:)
She ran my boy cat, Samadhi, out of the house.

I would have liked to know Fang-Face...:)

Oh Dita, you are so welcome. Every time I see someone has lost a pet - I do cry, I truly do as I know the heart heaviness and tear to the soul that is truly indescribable. When I put Cali in with Oliver in the wooden coffin, I felt like crawling in there with them.

Each breath is one breath closer to reunion time & until then we plug along & try to be open to the new fuzzy cirtter God asks us to care for for a few years on earth.

Take care dear friend & know that there are a lot of folks here at the Finest who really do understand & really do care.

Yes, we have the counter being installed tomorrow. We really lucked out and have a friend who has a friend who does counters. He does beautiful work so we are told. I’m looking so forward to it!
