this indicates a serious lack of judgment on his part.

I disagree. I think it indicates a serious flaw in the law. Not because he chose to flaunt it. But because he was able to do so for so long. If he can do so, then so can the rest of us. The law is a result of the safety nazis taking root in your(not mine) brain over the last 20 years. It crept up on you and you accept it as a religion. That’s your failing.

0.08 is absolutely stupid and only a stupid absolute commie would condone such a stupid limit. Take your commie ideas and stick them up my diesel tailpipe of my truck so I can blow them out when I wish. And I’ll be drinking as I do so.

And you got that from where in my comments?

Unless and until the law can be changed, there is nothing foolish about dealing with the reality of the situation. For the average citizen, a couple of DUIs can practically ruin one's life. I think the limit is very asinine. The problem is that if I get popped a couple of times for DUI, it will mess up my life in a major way. I choose to avoid that.

We have a serious and growing problem with the nanny state. I give us no better than 50/50 odds of reigning it in before it is beyond fixing. But I have no intention of making a martyr of myself as some sort of protest. That will change nothing.
