YOU need to listen to the replay, not me. Since Congress knows, we have TIME (as Hunter said), and that would be the instance where he would contend the Congress has to give approval under the War Powers Act. That's EXACTLY what he said, and he will regret having ceded power to the Congress because they (Democrats) will either claim the President mis-represented the facts (and did act without approval) OR, that the President CANNOT take action without approval because they knew ahead of time. There's no getting away from what he committed, and now he has to deal with it, and try to spin his way out.
I’m sorry, but what?
We already know Iran has a nuclear program, that much is true.
But are they about to initiate a nuclear attack? Does Iran have a nuclear weapon ready to fire? Does our intelligence indicate this?
If intelligence indicates the attack will come VERY soon, then Hunter would go forward and stop them and bear the consequences of what Democrats in Congress will call him (like he cares). If intelligence indicates there’s still some time before a nuclear attack, then Hunter might decide to go to Congress.
It’s really not that hard to grasp.
Hunter was the first one to say that Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons if he is president. All the others started singing the same song. This was 4 debates ago.
When asked if he would potentially use nuclear weapons to remove Iran’s nuclear threat he said “yes”.
If you are trying to paint Hunter as weak on Iran, you are barking up the wrong tree.
