Chris Matthews has no concept of “independence”. He only filibusters when he hears, or thinks he might hear, some opinion not of his own collection of fears, prejudices or biases.
His mind is made up, do NOT confuse him with facts.
He is never mistaken.
Chrissy was misquoted. What he said was: “Hillary paid a price for my independence.”
Chris Matthews...poor, poor Chris. All this jabber is just show prep, Matthews desperately hoping beyond hope that someone will actually bother to watch him on MSNBC’s sponsored debate. Oh, it will get more viewers than when it’s the democrat herd, but still an insignificant number of viewers will flip to watch.
For days now, Matthews has been all over NBC channels, hyping his book on various shows. I think after 2 weeks of supehype, it finally broke #100, but didn’t stay there long. It was # 102 a few hours back.
