This puff piece article speaks for itself, completely discounts the seriousness of Reid's attack on constitutional freedoms, and speaks volumes about the (at times) values-blind non-partisan culture of BYU.

Here is one suggestion for any who are thinking about or planning a little demonstration there on campus. Instead of signs and active protests which would trigger official overreaction, perhaps someone could print off the Petition letter and website address from MRC. Could be printed two to a page and the flyers distributed to students entering the Marriott Center. Here is the link:

If Reid was visiting MY university I’d be at there protesting. I wish I could be at this place, I wanna wave some signs and tell him just what I think of him.

So, first we have Ahmanutjob at Columbia, now Reid at BYU. Why’s he visiting this place? If anything I’d have thought Utah State since he graduated from there, or some school in Nevada since he’s from there. Oh wait, I have an idea—how ‘bout you resign and leave the Senate? That would be the best thing Reid’s done in years.
