He should have declined to answer the question instead of lying about it. I no longer give him the benefit of the doubt though. I think he actually believes this fallacy, afterall he and his family are very close friends to the Royal's in Saudi Arabia, a country that is the prime promoter and fund raising machine for Al Qaeda.
