Every time that I have a choice of either going to Home Depot versus Lowes,
I’ll pick Home Depot!
It totally pisses me off that every single sign, everywhere in the Lowe’s store, has to be in both English and Spanish!
Every friggin sign, whether it’s to locate a cash register, or to have you remember that you can wipe yourself with free toiletpaper, is in spanish!
Frig-em, and I told the local manager the same - but it’s corporate policy; even here in Rhode Island, where everyone speaks Portugese if not English!
PROTIP: Lot’s of contractors hire Mexicans, who often shop at Lowe’s when they need more 2x4’s, roofing nails, or whatever.
Here in Northern CA, there are lots of illegals hanging around in front of all the Lowes and Home Depots looking for a job. If you buy stuff and don’t hire them, you get yelled at. At the fast food places, you don’t get hired unless you Speak Spanish. The only place I haven’t seen that is at In-N- Out Burgers, they have real American teens working there, not 20 something illegals.
