They have a very odd idea of what constitutes “progress”.
You know, the first one about wine making moving towards the poles reminds me of something:
Leif Erickson called Greenland, I believe, “Vineland the Good.” A former president of Iceland told me that during an interview with her by yours truly back in 1982.
Now, if that’s true, what’s the big fuss about temperatures warming in Greenland? 1) It was green once -hence the name and 2) they used to make wine there!
