That's really it. I was busy making him into my dream candidate and then he started actually verbalizing his ideas and it brought me back to reality. I guess I was just feeling desperate because Rudy McRomney is unacceptable to me.

Same here, I was somewhat supportive of Thompson early on. But on closer look, he is no better than the Rudy McRomney bunch he was supposed to save us from. Thompson has been way over sold. He is destined to disappoint.
