Great biography, Star!

Nancy Wake is the sort of heroine that you just couldn’t make up as fiction: nobody would believe it. Only real life could produce someone like her.

I have always found it most regrettable that New Zealand, where Nancy Wake was born, has yet to provide her with any form of recognition. Australia now has, but for some reason NZ won’t.

The Returned Services Association and the King’s Empire Veterans (both in NZ) have — but the government: no.

Comfort is on a four-month humanitarian deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean providing medical treatment to patients in a dozen countries.
