Every demand is a step down that slippery slope. Soon the public will be used to the notion that Muslims are exempt from all sorts of things, so that when they demand sharia, it will be allowed — as it is in parts of Canada. Then it’s honor killings, stonings, the entire panoply of ninth century ignorance, violence, and stupidity. There goes western civilization, with barely a whimper.
