I really believe the time has come to be for for someone rather than against Hillary. All the hate the democrats have had for Bush failed to keep him out of the White House. Hate is not enough. Lets be for someone. Hunter/Thompson or Thompson/Hunter. Sounds like a clear cut opposition to Hillary to me. It is also a winner. Two non socialist adults against a socialist harridan.

You have an excellent point about the importance of being FOR our candidate instead of just against Hillary. So we've got Thompson - who I'm for since I like his ideas and he seems to have clout in person and on paper. However, he is attacked as being laconic, no fire, lazy etc. So I think for his VP he needs someone with chrisma - unfortunately chrisma is important. I wish I could think of who this would be, but it isn't Hunter who would be lots farther ahead if he had any.

I agree, but he is a warrior. Lets kick his ass to be more charismatic. Truth is we need a tried and true warrior.
