"I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m definitely interested in watching one of these silly debates for once. :)"

I've never looked forward to a debate...never. I've watched a few more out of duty than anything.

Isn’t the theme of this debate going to be economic isssues? If so, the Huckster has plenty of problems for Fred to work with...

D’Amato giving advice is the kiss of death. He got his ass handed to him by Chuckie Schumer

That probably made you happy though.

Truth hurts. Rooty is a true RINO...or uh..Democrat.

Ahh, I didn’t realize there was a theme. That ought to be interesting. :)

I never have either, but I must admit, I’m looking forward to this one.

I will most likely vote for Thompson in the Maine primary. But Rudy would make a good President. Far cry better than Hillary. He’d prosecute the war on terror in a forceful manner, domestically he’d cut taxes and appoint judges and justices like Alito and Thomas to the bench. And he did a good job cleaning up the mess that Dinkins and the unions created in New York. If he could manage to turn around a socialist utopia like New York City, he can’t be all bad.

Sorry, I do not buy into the unproven Rooty spin.

His record says otherwise.

It’s either Rudy or Fred as our nominee. Am I going to be one of the 27% of republicans to sit out in 2008 and not vote if Rudy’s the nominee? No way. We’re at war and we need to defeat the Islamic terrorists at all costs.

All the other GOP candidates would be better at that than Rooty, with the exception of Ron Paul. Rooty has no record on the war and no credentials that prove he would be a good leader in a war.

You may be right. But how can any person who loves this nation, loves freedom, not vote against Hillary?

Alfonse M. D’Amato is a closet moderate who is a backstabber during all of the various congression hearing that was to help us the republicans, he let the opposition get the edge on us!

Do some of you recall the double talk and let downs we experience when Alfonse M. D’Amato was in office?

I am sure Newt has some choice words for this scab!

I will, because Rooty will not get the nomination.

So you’re really going to vote for Hillary in the general election?

Cut it out. You sound like one of the RotoRootybots that I thought got purged outta here.

Rooty is not going to get the nomination. He will be Howard Deaned to the curb along with his bots.

We’ve got what, 3 months until the NH primary? Who wins that Fred, Rudy or Mitt? Romney is putting a ton of money into the New England market. He could win NH, Mass, his dad’s old state of Michigan. Thompson will win most of the southern delegates. Huckabee maybe takes Arkansas. Rudy has a chance to carry New York, California and Florida. So we might not have a nominee for a while. And Romney might play king maker with his delegates.
So Rudy may not get the nomination. But he could. And to attack me and call me a bot is an insult.

I didn’t attack you. NO to Rooty.

My final word. He is a liberal loser and the dealbreaker for the GOP.

I said Rooty would be kicked to the curb along with his bots. If you think that is you well.....

Look I’m not trying to pick fights here with posters. God knows folks here are generally of the same mindset. My ideal candidate for president is Santorum, but he’s not running. At this point I’m voting for Thompson in the primary. I’d love to vote from Tancredo but every delegate is going to matter this year.
In the end Rudy’s pro-choice, liberal stance on the issues will most likely keep him from the nomination. But if he is the nominee, I’m voting for him because I’m voting against Hillary Clinton.

You are right. You say you are for FRED Thompson. If you are, then BE for Fred Thompson. This is pre primary. You don’t get your way by bending over for who the MSM have annoited.

Rooty is a possibility, he is only a probability because people are too frightened of the socialist Ms Clinton. She is beatable.

She is not beatable by offing up a leftist like herself.

You want to win? One step at a time. Beat the left out of the GOP. There are enough people that would agree, that despise Hillary.

Voters are desparately in need of a lifeline, stand up and fight for Fred.
