1. I don’t care how old Fred’s wife is. I care a lot more about how old the candidates are. Ron Paul at 77 by the end of a first term is an age issue.

2. Grover Cleveland and women is a not a comparison you want to make.

I don't care about any candidate's spouse - even IF they are a trophy spouse - as long as they stay out of the politics. The candidate is the one elected and the only influence a spouse should have is through the candidate (who should be able to take input from the spouse but not be overly persuaded by them.) IMO.
