No, an EMP would have fried everything.
It was probably several aircraft running different jammers to cover a broad spectrum, or the Israeli’s have a stand off escort jammer like the long retired EF-111 “Spark-Vark”.
But I bet it’s all those nice gizmos that they have packed into the dorsal spines of their F-16’s though.
The new russian SAM systems that syria bought was supposed to be “jam proof” due to multiple radar frequencies in the deci, centi and millimeter range and a few other things. They’re supposed to be frequency agile enough to defeat stealth technology (at least that’s what the russians claim....Thank you bill clinton for not destroying the wreckage of the F-117 in Yugoslavia and selling the info to the chinese).
