I agree that an employer can use the program. If the SSN does not match, the employer cannot take any meaningful action.

from my link.....if the SS#'s doesn't match, seems like you can fire them, again *IF* you want to.

"In the case of a tentative non-confirmation, the new hire has the right to contact SSA or BCIS and try to fix the problem BEFORE the employer may fire the new hire."
