Yeah, but not an ordinary *girl* ;^)
My thoughts:
*Schlessinger? 8 million? On what stations?! (Outside of KFI)
*Levin is rising very quickly, no surprise there. Also rising are Lars Larson and Rusty Humphries, both very good and underrated hosts IMO. Humphries is pretty much the only live national conservative talker in his time slot (M-F 9pm-12/Sat 8-11pm) so that helps him out a lot.
*Mike Reagan still holding in there on a lower-tier network in the 2nd-most competitive slot against Savage, Larson and Levin.
*Still only one liberal host who can break 2 million.
*Opie and Anthony... well, so much for them being the next great hope to replace Howard Stern.
*Mancow may have peaked since he lost his major markets in LA and Chicago (but gained SF).
*Hannity and Limbaugh may be just a little bit too close together, although Hannity definitely benefits from the Rush lead-in on the Clear Channel and ABC stations.
*Something to watch in 6 months: where Dennis Miller shows up— he had a nice launch in March 06 and I think he’ll likely make an appearance on the list next time around.
The 2 I listen to most: Savage and Levin.
They make a wonderful one-two punch.
It’s a good show, but look who he’s up against: Mark Levin, Michael Savage, and an underrated Lars Larson. He’s on a smaller network (Radio America) so it’s kind of hard to compete like that.
Well you obviously have excellent taste, and I don’t disagree with your ranking. I would even go so far as to say that on some days Hewitt impresses me more than Rush. I especially like his skill as an interviewer.
Back when I could listen to the radio when he was on, I always halfway expected him and the caller/guest to get into an argument about who was the “Greatest American”.
Arbitron doesn’t rate Sat radio so it probably doesn’t include XM.
Hey Jeff-—
I’m in St. Augustine.
LI comes on at 9am. 1320 AM on the dial.
I have not heard Dennis Miller’s show when perusing the dial. Check it out and let me know! :)

Hey-—you are sweet!
I can’t listen to Hannity either. I used to like him. But after a while I got annoyed with him. I like Mike Savage, Bob Grant, and G Gordan Liddy. While those 3 do their share of making fun of liberals... I come away learning something new after listening.
The only thing I get out of Hannity is ‘Republicans are good and Democrats are bad’. I would rather listen to Savage talk about history or different cultures than listen to Hannity fight with Al Sharpton or some other knucklehead.
Many folks like Hannity.... More power to him if he has a large market... I can only take him in small quantities though.
They're ranked 12th (okay, so there are way more than 11 people ahead of them). Actually, when they started again on New York radio, I didn't realize that it was a syndicated deal. Guess I should've.
About eight months ago, Arbitron send me a weekly journal to fill out - day by day, hour by hour.
A friend of mine downloads the podcast so he can hear him at his leisure.

Savage does come on later in the evening on the east coast.

I LOVE Levin!
I love Michael Reagan also. He is one of my favorites along with Rush and Quinn & Rose.
I like your first three. If you all want an occasional “listen to hell,” try that moron Alan Colmes. He’s worse on the radio than on TV, if such RAT idiocy can be measured.
Why is hannity so high? And dr laura? Glenn beck and laura ingraham should be higher.
