Wesley Clark needs to be taken to task for his role in the phony “phony soldiers” debacle, for one specific reason. As a West Point man, he was, and still should be, subject to the Military Academy Honor Code which states, in effect: A cadet will not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate one who does. By perpetuating what he surely knows is a lie, he also lies, and is therefore a walking violation of the sacred West Point Honor Code. Everlasting shame on him for placing personal gain before honor. I nominate him for the post of “Phony West Pointer” for his phony adherence to that very real code.
