Also, frankly, it is about the core intelligence and connection with the truth of a person. Anyone that believes in Mormonism has a screw lose in my opinion (or is so desperately seeking that they will believe anything, which is the real tragedy). Joseph Smith is one of the most ridiculous “prophets” in human history. He married other men’s wives, died in a shootout in a jail, faked translations of documents in egyptian hierogliphics (proven to be faked by a later translation), boasted that he was greater than Jesus Christ (and lied to his congregation about his polygamy) in a sermon, was into the occult, copied Masonic rights for his religion, supplied fake metal plates to a financial backer who wanted proof of the authenticity of his prophecies, ad infinitum. If a man doesn’t check into the truth of their faith, they shouldn’t be President, and if they do and don’t see a problem with Joseph Smith . . . they shouldn’t be President.
I'm sure there are people who think those who believe in whatever your faith is have a screw loose.
I will ask again. . .what is your faith? Baptist, Methodist, ELCA, Jehovah's Witness? If you are going to make someone else's faith an issue, you shouldn't be afraid to reveal what yours is.
