Funny stuff in the HughHewitt.com comments.

This fits Mitt perfectly!

WAITER Can I take your order sir?

MITT I think that’s certainly a possibility. Were I to order, I would choose food and something to drink as well.

WAITER Yeah, but what do you want?

MITT I don’t think I can put it to you any more clearly. I meant exactly what I said.

HUGH You want a turkey sandwich and a cup of coffee, right, Mitt?

MITT Thank you, Hugh, I believe in this cirumstance you best represent what I might choose under certain conditions.

I doubt Mitt Romney would order a cup of coffee.

What the heck is Mitty trying to say while speaking out both sides of him mouth. It reminds me of the following paragraph:

While my better instincts counsel me to follow a policy of laissez-faire, there are a couple of Gov. Mitt Romney’s statements I feel I cannot let pass. I guess I should start by saying that when I hear Mitt say that censorship could benefit us, I have to wonder about him. Is he totally stroppy? Is he simply being harebrained? Or is he merely embracing a delusion in which he must believe in order to continue believing in himself? I mean, I have to laugh when Mitt says that we should derive moral guidance from his glitzy, multi-culti, hip-hop, consumption-oriented strictures. Where in the world did he get that idea? Not only does that idea contain absolutely no substance whatsoever, but if we are to embrace diversity, then we must be guided by a healthy and progressive ideology, not by the raving and lecherous ideologies that Mitt promotes. I wouldn’t judge Mitt’s helots too harshly. They’re just cannon fodder for Mitt’s plot to hammer a few more nails into the coffin of freedom. When it comes to Mitt’s animadversions, I honestly assert that we have drifted along for too long in a state of blissful denial and outright complacency. It’s time to embark on a new path towards change. The sooner we do that, the better, because perennial crybabies like Mitt wouldn’t fare well without a legal skirt to hide under. What’s my problem, then? Allow me to present it in the form of a question: Will peeling back the onion of Mitt’s self-centered, frightful homilies cause Mitt to shed tears or will it merely enhance his desire to trivialize the issue? He doesn’t want you to know the answer to that question; he wants to ensure you don’t lead him out of a dream world and back to hard reality. To close, let me accentuate that if we pursue virtue and knowledge, we shall not only survive Gov. Mitt Romney’s attacks; we shall prevail.

huh?
