“By a nearly two-to-one margin, Republican voters believe free trade is bad for the U.S. economy, a shift in opinion that mirrors Democratic views and suggests trade deals could face high hurdles under a new president. “

Just an other example of why I say the beast will be our next president.

This poll clearly didn’t include a lot of freepers.

Why do you assume that freepers wouldn’t be involved in such a poll? Free trade is killing this nation. Fair trade could work but what is now passed off as free trade is a poison to this Democratic Republic.

The problem with free trade is that most people have forgotten the last part of the free trade credo. Free trade is positive among nations - that are at the same level of economic development. That is, free trade Between the US, Europe, Japan would be positive for all involved. Free trade among areas that are not at the same level of economic development ends in exploitation and conflict.

You actually seem to believe that because this is in print it must be legitimate. Personally the media has zero credibility with me and unless i can see the demographics and the manner in which the question was asked (context)It’s all garbage.

The economy has never been in better shape DESPITE the housing problem and if you want to know the real problem it is that people are uninformed.

BTW, who said Hillary would be the nest president? Oh yeah, that’s right, the media did. I guess that settles it right. You may as well stay home next November since we have no chance, The Media said so.

If you think “free” trade is a requirement to be a conservative, you are nuts.

“Free” trade isn’t free and its ruining America.

American workers and companies CAN’T POSSIBLY compete with the slave labor camps subsidized by ratholes like the Red Chinese Government runs.

Finally some people are starting to get it.

If we had “Free” trade in the 1930’s there would have been no plants to build our armaments.

She was not interested on where Hillery stood on any issue!

Likely not. It would have been even higher in recognizing the damage to our national security that China's manipulated trade has created.

The phoney free traders have been long bested here, and are a vanishingly insignificant minority. Only Wall Street and the White House are the last believers in indiscriminate unilateral import openness, blind to foreign barriers and subsidies.
