Maybe it is, lp boonie, but then this was the same author/FBI agent who revealed the “condoms as Christmas tree ornmanets” at the Clinton White House. When that story made the rounds (I lived in DC at the time) it was dismissed as partisan sniping and “obviously” false. Then the Lewinsky/Jones matter broke, and unconventional Christmas tree ornaments were small potatoes in comparison.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons had to sue to get the Hillary Health Care Task Force to make public its records. The Clinton Admin tried to block that, but Judge Royce Lamberth (I believe that was who it was and the correct spelling) ruled that Hillary’s task force, using public moneies, had to make their documents public under the Freedom of Information Act.
So the attitude and secrecy and paranoia and arrogance that typified Hillary’s “birthing” (her term) of a “health care plan” are hardly out of line with what Aldrich recounts here.
I remember the main thrust of his book was that all these people were being given White House passes and the FBI was prevented from doing background checks on them beforehand. At the time, Aldrich couldn’t figure out whether this was incompetence or deliberate.
Then, a few years later, the Clinton fundraising scandal was revealed and we learned about all these unsavory charactors and foreign nationals who had access to the White House in return for hefty contributions to the DNC.
Not BS at all, lp boonie. In fact, there’s a picture of the tree in Gary’s great book.
I can’t find my copy right now or I’d be able to reference a page and paragraph where the Hilda-Beast ordered the servants (that would mean the entire staff) not to make any eye contact with her and to vacate the halls when her Thighness chose to waddle through. How wide are the halls in the White House, does anyone know?
