I’ll be darned, Jacques Villeneuve qualified 6th,, maybe a little new blood is a good thing after all.. we’ll see soon enough.

The Toyota teams used qualifying setups, and these are impounded cars, which means that after qualifying, the teams can't touch them. They'll do okay for a few laps, but after that the other teams who used racing setups will pass them. The first pit stop the Toyota teams make, you'll see a lot more activity (working on the setups).

It’s Morning again...I have that insidious “Go Cubs Go” song running thru my head...all NIGHT LONG.

What a horrible, horrible post season...the Flubbies hit a collective 0.194 for the series. Mrs. GRRRRR is devastated, we’ve watched every game together since June..

Now, to the business at hand for today: Talledega, POSCOT, Impound Race, Toy-Yodas up front = BIG ONE inside of 20 laps????

It's SPAM and Eggs for breakfast.

I think a lot of the starting grid fiasco can be directly attributed to "the Chase". None of the chasers want to risk any chance of a qualifying problem.

In short, the chase makes for LESS racing, not more. Just stay out of trouble and survive.
