I have a feeling Stewart believes that what he does is somehow better and purer than what guys like Carlson and Matthews do, which is pretty funny in itself.

I feel the same way. I fail to see how Stewart has any high ground. I remember a time in the far away times when he was amusing, those days are long gone.
No matter who won that little tete-a-tete, I am sure conservatives lose.
