Just curious. How were airlines negligent on 9/11?
To: Sherman Logan
When passengers are rendered helpless and defenseless and left in the charge of a common carrier , there is a duty upon that carrier to exercise a reasonable duty to protect the passengers from known risks . When our company was negotiating travel for a huge sales and management force ,several , more than four major carriers ,led us to believe armed security and or air marshals were on the vast majority of flights. We have since learned those representations were false . Reasonable precautions not taken to prevent harm from a known risk is negligence .
