Yup. Comply or else. The options she was given for a stupid underwire bra were really half-assed ones. They could’ve had a female guard do a pat search if they absolutely had to, and be done with it.
And if there was NO female guard, a male guard could have felt around and under her bra. That would certainly have been OK/sarc.
